I was inspired after visiting Charleston, SC a few years ago. We took part in a tour of private gardens and I was intrigued by the number of garden rooms which were anchored by a small (or sometimes large) statue. There is definitely a fine line between creating a charming vignette and having too many pieces of art 'tucked' between shrubs! My advice is to find a spot that seems to call for an accent piece and give it a try.
